It’s not often that we receive a message from the host of a podcast looking to feature some of the products on our website, but in early October that’s exactly what happened. One of the hosts of the “My wife is a dominatrix” Miss Poison Candi reached out to us as she wanted to discuss chastity cages with her audience just after Locktober had begun.
We’d heard of the podcast before but hadn’t listened to many of the episodes. I usually have some lo-fi background music on during the work day. Slave D is more the podcast listener in our household.
We watched a few episodes and immediately messaged her back to say an emphatic yes! We’re in.
Less waffling, straight to watching
Instead of explaining everything ourselves, why don’t we just get straight into the video?
I’ve added some notes below so that you can hear how it went from our perspective.
If you want to get straight into the chastity chat skip to the 28 minute mark.
The device kits we sent them
We wanted the presenters and guest sub Miguel (or Maid Michelle) to have a range of different devices to explain their benefits and considerations that you should think about before choosing one.
Here’s a list of what we sent to them:
- Black Hera hexlock - small size
- S215 - Medium cage size with a circular back ring
- Pink HoD601S
- Black House Trainer V4 - small size
We very much enjoyed seeing Dan expertly put together the “meccano” pink silicone kit and the comments made by Miss Poison were quite right. These kits are great for beginners but, due to the flexible properties of the material, we wouldn’t recommend them if you intend to enter long term chastity.
One correction that we do want to make refers to the black Hera cage. We don’t currently offer custom sizing for our Olympus collection. We received the measurements from Candi and chose a size that most closely matches what we were provided with.
Notes we sent to the hosts
Before sending the devices to the podcast team we discussed writing some notes with them that would help with their content. This included some notes relating to Locktober, cage materials, measurement tips, lock systems, hygiene, cleaning and safety information.
It’s really important to us that any information provided to people relating to chastity is correct, particularly when it relates to measurements and safety. Thank you so much to the hosts for doing exactly that.
Here’s what we didn’t do - tell them anything about what to say about the devices we provided. By that I mean we didn’t tell them to say nice things about our products in exchange for the kits. Honesty and transparency is key here.
Can I listen to the episode instead?
Glad you asked. Yes, you can.
It’s available on Spotify and Apple Music too. I would strongly recommend watching the episode on YouTube as it’s a very visual episode.
