Hi, I’m slave D. With over 10 years of experience wearing over 100 different chastity cages (to date) I’m the in-house test subject at House of Denial. I also pack your orders, am heavily involved in the research and development process that goes into our new designs, then test them extensively before they’re offered to you all on this website.
What goes into the testing process before we offer a device? I look to answer the following questions:
1. Is it safe? I check that there are minimal sharp edges and pinch points, ensure that the material is body safe, any dye or colouring that goes into the material is skin safe, that the lock or cage can be released in the event of it failing, and that it's comfortable to wear long term (if that's what you want or choose to do).
2. Is it secure? This includes checking the locking mechanism, the cage and ring design and how they fit together, and sizing.
3. Are all of the product details correct? I check that the measurements we provide on the product pages are correct to ensure that you're able to make an informed decision before you buy. I also review legislation for different territories around the world that we sell to and ensure that our products comply with them.
4. Can it be improved in any way? We don't just stop at one design. We prototype, test, revise, test again, and so on. Once we release a new device the testing continues to see what we can change to further improve for the next version.
It’s a hardship, but someone has to do it.
Permanently collared, mercilessly edged and denied, completely devoted to my keyholder, Mistress K.
I enjoy writing. Most of the erotic stories involving chastity on our site were written by me and I’m hoping to write plenty more in the future. Many of them are written based on our own experiences but some come directly from my devious mind. I encourage you to have a read through them and offer your feedback. Who doesn't love a compliment? Though I'm happy to read any constructive criticism that you have too.
I also contribute content to our blog and descriptions of the devices that we sell. We’ve received a number of emails since the website launched in 2017 complimenting us for those and it always raises a smile.
The product photographs on the site were also all taken by me along with most of the pictures that we post on social media. If you’re active on Twitter, Fetlife or Instagram, please do come and say hello and get involved in any discussions that we have over there.
Time permitting, Mistress K and I love to get out to local kink events including QueenDomme in Leeds and make the journey down to club Pedestal in London from our base in the north of England when we can. It’s a wonderful experience if you’re a submissive and wish to worship femdoms.
I’m a self confessed and proud workaholic who spends most of my waking hours (and some unconscious too) doing everything I can to learn, improve the products that we offer and continue to add new solutions to cater for your needs.
