It’s coming into the festive season, the chill is in the air and unfortunately there are changes afoot!
From Friday 13th December, any items being sent into Europe (including Northern Ireland) and the EEA countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) will be subject to new legislation called GPSR or General Product Safety Regulation. This replaces the existing GPSR to ensure modern safety standards are met with all products.
As part of this, there are a lot of requirements on businesses importing into Europe including having a verified agent within mainland Europe.
We are working to ensure we comply with the new regulations but until we can ensure we are compliant, we will not be able to fulfil any orders into Europe, Northern Ireland, Norway, Iceland or Lichtenstein from Friday 6th December.
We entirely appreciate this will be disappointing news to many of our wonderful European customers - we’re still working to understand the details of the legislation but as a small business, there’s a lot of work to do because of our extensive product base. Can we call that a humble brag?
Please be assured that as soon as we get our chastity-related ducks in a row, business will resume as normal.
