Whilst Hera could be a benevolent goddess, blessing people with clear skies or happy marriages, she also could be filled with vengeful and furious energy, imprisoning the voice of the nymph Echo for helping her husband Zeus to cheat or increasing the difficulty of the 12 Labours of Heracles. It is this ephemeral but strong and unyielding energy that we channelled for the design of our 3D printed Hera cage, complete with a truly satisfying snap-fit when the cage and lock connect.
It was our vision that we would celebrate Hera as the prima Goddess in the Olympic pantheon - a figure of happy unions but not without her darker side. And isn’t the heart of happy chastity? A union of people, bringing energy that is given and exchanged, bound and transformed into pleasure. Both Slave D and Mistress K know that power is given and held in preventing the ‘little death’, if you catch my meaning.
With the Hera cage being the first in our 3D printed Olympus range, without wanting to quote Ned Flanders, it feels like you’re wearing nothing at all because the full weight of the cage and lock is under 50 grams. That’s about the same as a slice of bread. Although we won’t ask why you’ve got a slice of bread on your genitals because we’re polite like that.
Utilising innovative 3D printing technologies alongside the endless possibilities from our team of kinky minds, the Hera is meant to embrace the kit between your legs without feeling oppressive, but making clear that escape is not an option. To secure your binding, this version of the Hera cage uses our unique Hexlock mechanism in place of a standard barrel lock. Each cage comes with our branded House of Denial hex key to twist the screws into the Olympus ring of your choice (bought separately) so that the Hera can lock up your peacock.
As the old adage about cleanliness and godliness goes, but how does one clean our Hera? As Queen of the Gods, she can handle hot water but we recommend warm water and soap as reliable options for most chastity devices including the Hera.
