When it comes to Pride, there are so many ways to be proud and to be yourself and we wanted to find a way to celebrate that. Or, to quote from Michael Cunningham, author of “The Hours,” “I was something else altogether. There were so many ways to be beautiful.” Beautiful might seem strange to use to describe our Pride cage, but honestly, we feel like it’s right. There are many ideas of how to be beautiful - most falling into ideas reinforced by society about how we physically look. But there is no look quite like that of a person surrendering to being encased in a cage, the sound of the snap as the cage and ring fit together, the glint in their eyes as the lock is turned and the key withdrawn. That is beauty.
Cages normally come in a standard set of colours - black and pink and clear and sometimes purples or blues or reds. But we love variety here at the House of Denial, as you might be able to tell!, and we wanted as broad a range as possible - just like we want to celebrate people of all identities who choose to wear our cages. We see cages as being not just items purely for play sessions, but with as much variety as anything else in a person’s wardrobe. So why not have a cage that is perfect for Pride events, kink events or play parties?
Part of our 3D-printed range, this set comes with a barrel lock mechanism along with 2 keys. We also recommend that the cage wearer and the key holder have a key each in the event of emergencies that mean you might need to release yourself. As this is a 3D-printed cage, there may be minor variations to the finish of each design but these are purely aesthetic and won’t make any difference to the longevity, structure or security of the cage.

Being an LGBTQIA+ inclusive business, we’re aware of rainbow washing and price gouging (or Pride Gouging as it might be more appropriate in this instance) and we’re staunchly against this practice. The Pride sets including the rings are more expensive than our standard 3D printed designs, and we want to be transparent about why that is.
In order to create these special designs - and others that you’ll see from us - we print these cages using a specialist colour printer. With our other designs, the colour is imparted using another method. The colour 3D printer costs more to run, which means that we’ve had to reflect that in our pricing of these devices.
